About SCLEOA

75 years ago, prominent law enforcement officer in South Carolina recognized the need for a statewide law enforcement association that would be open to all criminal justice professionals.

Created in 1941, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers' Association became the Voice of Law Enforcement in South Carolina. Today, more than 7,000 officers, representing every rank in municipal, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies, enjoy the valuable services and benefits provided by SCLEOA.

Purpose of SCLEOA:

SCLEOA is a professional association of law enforcement officers that have the common goal of advancing and enhancing the law enforcement profession in South Carolina. It is open to all criminal justice professionals in the state. SCLEOA strives to serve the needs of law enforcement professionals through benefits, services, legislative initiatives, training programs, communication, recreation, and networking in order to offer opportunities for career and financial enhancements and to encourage a strong environment for professional and personal development.
