Line of Duty Death Benefit

The Line-Of-Duty Death Benefit will include a Commendation, medallion, lapel pin and South Carolina state flag.

The survivor(s) will receive Line-Of-Duty Death Benefits as soon after the officer’s death as possible.

SCLEOA provides its members a $5,000 Line-Of-Duty Benefit.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers’ Foundation provides a $1,000 Line-Of-Duty Death Benefit to the survivors of any law enforcement officer killed as a direct result of actions taken in the performance of duty.
